List of 2017 Spring Mud Sales

A yearly tradition has started up again in Lancaster County’s countryside. The mud sales, typically put on by fire companies and other community organizations around the county, are places where families make memories again and again. So bring your boots, bring a chair, and enjoy a wealth of fun activities and great deals! Whether you are shopping for quilts or just out to enjoy the food, you can’t miss with these local favorites.

 

March 16: Farmersville Volunteer Fire Company Sale.

This sale is located at the West Earl Fire Company, 14 School Lane Ave., in Brownstown. The auction starts at 8 a.m. and more information is available at westearlfire.org.

March 18: Bart Township Building Materials and Craft Sale.

Located at the Bart Township Fire Company, 11 Furnace Road, Quarryville, this sale begins bright and early at 8:30 a.m. More information is available at bart51.com.

March 18-19: Penryn Fire Company’s 11th Annual Mud Sale.

An annual event for the past 11 years, the Penryn Fire Company sale takes place at 1441 N. Penryn Road in Manheim. The preview starts at noon on Friday with sales beginning 5 p.m. and continuing on Saturday. More information is available at penrynfire.com.

March 24-25: Gap Fire Company Sale.

The Gap Fire Company Sale covers two days and is located at 802 Pequea Ave. in Gap. For more information check out http://www.gapfire.org/.

April 1: Robert Fulton Sale.

The Robert Fulton Sale benefits the Robert Fulton Volunteer Fire Company and is located at 2271 Robert Fulton Hwy. in Peach Bottom. The auction starts at 8:30 a.m.

April 8: Rawlinsville Spring Mud Sale.

This sale takes place at 3 Martic Heights Drive, Holtwood and starts at 8 a.m. You can find more information at bit.ly/RMudSale17.

May 6: Fivepointville Consignment Auction.

Benefitting Fivepointville Fire Company, this auction takes place at 1087 Dry Tavern Road, Denver. It starts at 8:30 a.m. and more information is available at fivepointvillefire.net.

May 20: Schoeneck Fire Company Consignment Sale.

Also located in Denver, this sale and auction benefits the Schoeneck Fire Company and is located at 125 N. King St. The auction starts at 9 a.m. with a quilt auction to follow at noon. More information is available at schoeneckfire.com.

May 20: Weaverland Valley Fire Company Mud Sale.

Find this mud sale at Terre Hill Community Park – 210 Lancaster Ave. in Terre Hill. You can find more information at weaverlandvalleyfire.com.
